If you were at Leadership Community last November, you would remember a rich meeting. During this meeting we talked about how we can work harder, with the help of the Holy Spirit, on our core values (Christ. Community. Cause). We talked and dreamed what it each of these areas could look like for our church.

Also at that meeting came the budget for 2013, which presented by the Deacons. There was a proposed increase from 2012 to 2013. Some of those increases came from having a permanent place where we can now do ministry out of on a full time basis as well as rebuilding our savings account. We are also working harder at having fifty percent of what comes in goes right back out into the community. Those in attendance at the meeting unanimously affirmed the budget and the Consistory (Elders and Deacons) approved the budget for 2013.

So, as we start off the New Year, we wanted to remind you that the increases have started with the change of our calendar year. We have a weekly budget of $3,084.18, a monthly budget of $13,364.78, which gives us a yearly budget of $160,377.31. Please take time to pray through individually or as a family how you can steward your time, talents, and treasures for the glory of God in 2013.
