Instead of giving something up for Lent, the Elders are encouraging us to “give ourselves up to something for Lent.” Our focus during Lent will be on doing something to grow closer to God, not just on denying ourselves. We will be gathering for five Wednesdays (Februrary 20 – March 20) from 6:30 – 7:30 for worship, teaching and prayer for a mini-teaching series called “When the Church Prays.”

Meals and Your RSVP

Each week a meal will be provided from 5:30 – 6:15 for those who have RSVPed. For February 27, the meal will be:

• chili and a broccoli soup with bread and ice cream for dessert along with milk and lemonade

Please RSVP for a meal by Monday, February 25, so that we have enough food.

Cost:

• $3.00 per adult
• $2.00 per child
• Maximum cost per family: $10.00

Childcare and Your RSVP

Additionally, we will be offering childcare for small children during the gathered worship time . Please indicate if you are going to need childcare.

Again, please RSVP for a childcare by Monday, February 18, so that we have enough childcare workers.
