Practical mercy ministry is an essential part of any local church. Especially in hard economic times, financial pressures can be overwhelming and crushing – weighing down families with seemingly unsolvable cares.

It is our desire at Missio Dei Church to never say to another “be warm and be filled” and send them on their way without ministering to their needs. It is our desire to always help others, as the Lord provides, as a sign of being a gospel-centered church in fulfilling the second of the two great commands: “love your neighbor as yourself.” As the Apostle Paul so rightly commands us, “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10) We have a loving duty to care for those within our church and membership, but also, as possible, to those in community.

Although we can’t fulfill all requests, we will prayerfully consider using the resources God has given us to be of assistance to you. If you do have a benevolence need please contact us so we may better serve you and your family email life@mdchurch.us. If you live outside our area and need help and are not connected to a local church, again – please contact us and we will do our best to recommend a gospel-centered church to you in your home town.

Because of His unfailing love,

The Elders and Deacons of Missio Dei Church

Acts 2:44-45 (ESV)
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.

Acts 4:32-35 (ESV)
Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
