Mission: To provide an atmosphere and opportunities in which people are included and loved.
Missio Dei desires to be a community that welcomes those who have not experienced God’s grace; those of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds; as well as those who want to continue to celebrate their life in Christ. We seek to provide an emotionally and physically safe place for people to encounter God during Sunday worship as well as at other Missio Dei sponsored events. In all areas of communication and contact, we seek to earn the right to encourage the hard questions and the sharing of life’s difficult times; to value the gifts and talents of our members and visitors; and invite passionate participation in the rhythms of spiritual life.
Romans 12:9-13
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
