A great way to check out the inner workings of MDC or to get connected is to start serving. Here are some great ways to start that process!
MDC Road Crew:
Missio Dei is a fully mobile affair. While this means we are not tied down to any one place and the associated financial burdens, it also means there are things that need to be set up every time we meet together. Heavy things.
The Missio Dei Road Crew is responsible for getting our stuff to wherever we're meeting, and setting it up. If you're looking for way to plug in to the life of MDC fast, here's your shot. The future leaders of MDC will prove their worth in the Road Crew. For more info email John Meskis ( ).
Kids Crossing:
The Children's Ministry is in need of people who are willing to give their time by loving on kids and sharing the love of Jesus. If you are interested, please contact Laura ( ) for more information! Here are their needs:
- setting up and tearing down
- serving within the preschool and nursery one Sunday a month.
Tutoring Children
Missio Dei Church strives to be a church that is intentionally loving the community in real and practical ways! One way that we are doing that is through a ministry called Kids Crossing. On Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 PM at the Missio Dei Church Ministry Center, prescreened adults will be caring for kids in our community by helping with homework, mentoring and doing large group activities.
Most weeks will consist of tutoring and mentorship time, where the children will receive assistance with homework and studies, as well as additional opportunities for learning and guidance in areas where they might be struggling.
