Advisory Team Members

The MDC Advisory Team gathers for the purposes of supporting and enhancing the mission of Missio Dei Church.  This team will support MDC by:

  • making and or hearing ministry reports,
  • being an advocate to the classis and the sponsoring mother church,
  • and implementing creative solutions for ministries, staff, current and future budgets, etc.
  • encouragement

There are three types of members to the Advisory Team:

  1. Classis: Classis Church Plant Coordinator and classis assigned coach
  2. Mother Church: Pastor of sponsoring church
  3. MDC Members: Staff and key ministry leaders

The first two types of members (Classis level and Mother Church) serve the Advisory Team in an advisory and accountability role.  They provide wisdom, act as a sounding board, raise awareness to unforeseen issues, etc.  This team will meet quarterly (January, April, July, and October) with the full Advisory Team.

The MDC Members will serve the Advisory Team more as a working board, but not as a consistory.  As a team, this group will work diligently towards the offering and implementing of creative solutions and will report at the Advisory Team meetings.  The MDC Members will meet monthly or as needed.
